Synopsis

Technopreneurship is designed to equip learners with the knowledge, mindset, and practical frameworks necessary to navigate the dynamic intersection of technology and entrepreneurship. As the digital economy continues to reshape industries, technopreneurs play a crucial role in driving innovation, addressing societal needs, and creating scalable solutions. This learning material provides comprehensive lessons, activities, and assessments that progressively build students’ understanding of opportunity recognition, business model development, feasibility analysis, and venture creation. The module aims to cultivate creativity, critical thinking, and an entrepreneurial spirit, preparing learners to become capable innovators and future leaders in technology-driven ventures.

 

Author Biography

Elmar B. Noche, Pangasinan State University

Elmar B. Noche, MIT, is an IT faculty member at Pangasinan State University – Lingayen Campus, where he has also served as University Head of System Administration, and is a Licensed Professional Teacher. He is a doctoral candidate in Information Technology, specializing in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics, at Angeles University Foundation, and teaches Computer Science electives at Universidad de Dagupan. He holds editorial and conference roles, including Volume Editor for ICITME 2025, Book Editor for an IGI Global volume on artificial intelligence in video production, and Technical Program Committee Member for TIBS 2026.His research interests span educational technology, business intelligence and data analytics, GIS-based health informatics, and Philippine higher education policy, with a sustained focus on how technology-driven innovation can be taught, studied, and institutionalized within Philippine academic and entrepreneurial contexts.
