RESEARCH MANAGEMENT FOR EDUCATIONAL LEADERS: A Graduate Textbook for Educational Managers

Dr. Ventayen, is an educator, researcher, academic editor, and international relations coordinator with extensive experience in teacher education, graduate instruction, research management, and community development. She serves as an Associate Professor IV and faculty member of the College of Teacher Education at Pangasinan State University. She also serves as Coordinator for International Relations and Research Coordinator of the Pangasinan State University Open University Systems.

Dr. Orlanda-Ventayen holds a Doctor of Education and a Master of Arts in Education major in Educational Management from the Pangasinan State University Open University Systems. She completed a Bachelor of Elementary Education and a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Technology and Livelihood Education and is a Licensed Professional Teacher at both the elementary and secondary levels. She is also pursuing a Master of Arts in Teaching major in Technology and Livelihood Education at the Technological University of the Philippines.

Her research interests include teacher education, educational management, flexible and digital learning, educational technology, curriculum development, artificial intelligence in education, sentiment analysis, teachers’ workload and well-being, internationalization, and technology and livelihood education. Her scholarly works include studies on virtual learning environments, the use of technological tools in instructional delivery, workplace stress and depression among educators, student feedback, and emerging approaches to teaching and learning. Beyond teaching and research, Dr. Orlanda-Ventayen is involved in international academic collaboration, scholarly editing, research fellowships, and innovation-driven extension initiatives. She has contributed to projects such as the First Handloom Weaving Innovation Hub and the Bamboo Textile Fiber Innovation Hub, which connect academic research, livelihood education, textile innovation, and community development. As an educator, researcher, project proponent, and author, she remains committed to developing research-informed, sustainable, and outcomes-based learning resources that prepare competent, ethical, innovative, and globally responsive educators.
